First and foremost this book was written as a testament to the greatness of God, our Creator. It is also for all my angels who have touched my life in a profound way.

With it I honor two very important men in my life; though they left this earth too soon, their spirits and memory will forever live in my heart. To my father, Miguel Roque, whose passing left a great void in me. I honor you for you kind heart and for teaching me to forgive everyone, especially those who hurt us throughout our lives. To David Roberts, my hero and my children’s hero. I thank you for being a great father to Alberto and Andrea. Your gift of unconditional love made each one of us a better person. We are indebted to you!

To my mother, Ana Roque, for your love and the many sacrifices you have endured. To my sisters and brothers for the pure joy and laughter you have given me. You humbled my life with your appreciation of every moment and every blessing. I ask God to continue to bless you.
